I have seen a lot of posts flying around on various Social Media platforms regarding Furoshiki (風呂敷) – type of traditional Japanese wrapping cloth used to transport clothes, gifts, or other goods. Wikipedia provides some information regarding Furoshiki, including the history, design etc… so I am not going to go into this in detail here.
There are so many videos on YouTube, so one could spend hours looking at the different ways to use this Japanese technique. Being a lover of fabrics, this idea excites me – and opens a whole new world of opportunities when gift giving – or even wrapping lunch!
